Aphro
A blend doesn't lose its origins. It accords them.
Aphro is the house's signature blend. Under the pot, the code 0 — “Blend of terroirs”. Vintages 2024, 2025 and 2026. Produced under the health approval of the Togolese State (no. 00494/MRHART-CAB, national registration no. 191/23/MAEDR/CAB/SG/DE) and analysed by ITRA and INH. Its 2026 renewal is under way.
The word says two things
Two blends, and both are true
With us, “Aphro” doesn't name one single thing. Depending on what you're holding, the word means one or the other — and mixing them up is getting your purchase wrong.
In one pot
The blend at the workshop
Several terroirs brought into the same pot, by the house's own hand. The accord is already made when you open it: round, dense, deep. That's the pot that carries code 0.
In a gift box
The blend on the palate
The Aphro pot set beside the terroir pots, in the Écrin, the Prestige, the Dégustation or Afro-Douça. There, each pot keeps its own code and terroir: the blend happens on your palate, as you move from one to the next.
The origin
Where its terroirs come from
A blend is not an anonymous mix. It draws on 3 terroirs, and each keeps its name, its communities and its years — verifiable one by one.

The exact make-up changes with the harvest: that's what a blend is, and it's why it carries a vintage. What doesn't change is that every honey in it comes from a named community.

Why blend, when you sell origin?the awkward question
Because a blend isn't the opposite of origin: it's the sum of it. The great houses of wine, tea and coffee do nothing else. What would be dishonest is to blend in order to erase an origin — to sell honey from nowhere under a name that sounds good.
Our safeguard is simple: Aphro carries a code, a vintage, and the list of terroirs that make it up. If we couldn't say it, we wouldn't sell it.
Checking your pot of Aphrocode 0
Under your pot, the first digit is the place. For a blend, that's 0 — it points not to a hill but to the blending bench at the workshop. Then come the month of production, then the year.
The decoder turns the code into plain words, and tells you which vintage you're holding.
