Malfakassa-Fazao
The mountains. Our largest area, the one that gives the most honey and the most range: three communities harvest here, on blooms that don't look alike.
The hills of Malfakassa-Fazao, in the rainy season.
Malfakassa-Fazao is the largest of D'oùça?'s three terroirs in Togo. Three communities are attached to it: Bowounda (code 3), Kedi Kandjo (code 4) and Sada (code 5). Our two-year-aged 2024 cuvée comes from Kedi Kandjo.
In the Malfakassa-Fazao mountains, in north-central Togo. Three communities harvest here, across different relief and different blooms: it’s the area that gives the most range.
Malfakassa-Fazao honey goes into our Écrin de Douceur and Prestige gift boxes, and comes as a single cuvée by the pot. Sold at the workshop and at the Palais de Lomé.
