Tastings & events
A table, ten people, a host. You taste, you name what you sense, and honey by honey you travel the country. Each cuvée is a region, each aroma a landscape.
Guided tastings of single-terroir Togolese honeys. Format: a table of 10, 45 minutes, a host who pours several cuvées and guides with the Aroma Wheel. Designed in particular for cruise passengers stopping in Lomé. On request, to suit your needs.
The flavours
Several cuvées, from the mildest to the frankest. You learn to name what you sense with the Aroma Wheel: floral, woody, spiced.
The landscapes
Each honey comes from a real valley, from a community that harvested it. As you taste, you travel from Danyi to Fazao without leaving the table.
The proof
Under every pot, a code that leads to its terroir. What you taste, you can check. A journey you bring the proof back from.
It isn’t a tasting, it’s a journey. We don’t have you taste honey: we have you meet a country.
A session runs in three movements. You settle in — a table of ten, the host introduces the house, the terroirs, and the Wheel that will serve as vocabulary. You taste, from the mildest cuvée to the frankest, naming what you sense. Then you check: the code under each pot leads to the community that harvested it.
